		Hawthorne Crossing The heart of Portland. Capturing the spirit of the Hawthorne commute. The dramatic light this day I've never seen again. The sun and shadows off the Hawthorne bridge spectacular. I had to stop to photograph. Riding home, I waited for the perfect biker. One shot, and he was gone. My bike leans against the railing. Ride Bikes, Free Minds! Escape Carthink! Hawthorne Crossing will hang in the art museum one day, and really should be there now.
		Hawthorne Crossing 2 Bridge walking, Portland life. Rainy Hawthorne Crossing, to go with the sunny Hawthorne Crossing. On the opposite side of the bridge, with a different city view, I waited for life. The umbrellas were perfect. The two photographs compliment each other well, match up side by side.
		Hawthorne Reflection Skateboarding home early I caught this reflection, soon disturbed by a tugboat. Rare to see the Willamette so still in the city.
		Hawthorne Reflection Double Exposure Beautiful and mysterious prints from the darkroom. The original prints quickly sold out. Custom prints look great, made one at a time to match the original.
		Pitock View. Portland to Mt. Hood. Clear winter day. Hiking in the late afternoon light to find some good spots and shots. Then custom print for artistic effects.
		Portland Winter Birds 2 The birds landed for the photo! Bird one's friend arrived to make " Birds 2 ". Classic winter Portland.
		Steel Bridge Spring Blossoms Biking the Burnside Bridge I leaned over for this composition, keeping the Burnside Bridge in the bottom of the photo. Beautiful spring in waterfront park.
		Steel, Broadway, Freemont Bridges Beautiful day to be biking those great Portland bridges. High spring water in the Willamette.
		Steel Bridge, Industrial Willamette. Industrial area of inner Portland, with active shipping and trains. So close to all the hip cool stuff, but rarely seen or appreciated.

		Burnside Bridge Winter The gray sky, water, and concrete that is the Portland winter. Steel Bridge, Rose Quarter, and Convention Center towers in the background.
		St. Johns Bridge Misty spring trees and forest park behind make a great composition. Prototype of the Golden Gate bridge. Quiet parks, green plants, good architecture = health.
		St. Johns Bridge Cathedral Park. Under the bridge. The slower architecture of our past. Beautiful. No leafblowers please.
		Made in Oregon The sign. They changed it!
		Portland. The snow of 2008. The super white Christmas of 2008. The most snow in 40 years. Way too much for Portland's two snowplows. Skiers and snowboarders rode the town. I was at the market, selling photos, in artic conditions. Harsh! Roofs cracked, trees fell, we lost money, but we made it. Better snow detail with original on screen, digital print is a little fuzzier, but both look good. Four originals made, signed and numbered.

		Golden Gate to Marin Headlands From the Presidio with Baker Beach below. Perfect October day with shinning, spinning sailboats and nude sunbathers. Special 16 x 20 is 15 1/2 x 20 inches, a custom print with slight wear. Standard prints I thought were sub par, so marked them down. But still cool art for sure.

......	..........	Art Backs All my art has writing on the back. Short, long, poetry, sketches, quotes. It changes over time. Putting out some messages, history, stories, websites, or fun. Sometimes I get rolling in the flow, and photos come with original poetry. This has been a fun thing over the years and the great response from people keeps it evolving. Sometimes my booth feels like a library with all the reading going on. I take pride in making original, personal, signed art. Anything personally signed means more, and is worth more, as the years go by. It's important to me as an artist to put out a message, not just sell pretty pictures. Photographs are not attached to boards. Frame both sides if you like.
